DSPA-5 success in Holland
DSPA-5 is the choice for a care homes organisation
The ZZG Care Homes Group manages 18 care homes in the East of Holland. "If a fire were to break out during the night, there would be simply too few hands to do the extinguishing. That's why we chose for the DSPA-5". Explains Mr Den Hartog, co-ordinator of the ZZG Group.

Fire Squid wins Accenture Award 2011
The Fire Squid won an Innovation award in the Consumer Products and Agri section at last year's Accenture Innovation Awards ceremony. It was the general public who voted the Fire Squid a clear winner in its category - quite an amazing achievement for a product that will only be available for purchase later this year!

UL Listing applied for
1st September 2010
SFA Consultancy, Holland, complete the Project Plan for the project "Certification of DSPA Aerosol Extinguishing components". The goal of this project is to have the DSPA product range certified by Underwriters Laboratory under the UL 2775.
New Product Launched
19th July 2010
DSPA.uk director John Maxfield visited DPSA.nl's headquarters in Nijmegen, Holland to undertake initial training on the new Nofiq fire extinguishing system. This exciting new product is both a fire detector, using "double knock" sensors for Carbon Monxide and temperature increase, and an extinguisher using DSPA compound. The products are suitable for electrical cabinets up to 1 cu m. For more information on these Nofiq products, available in the New Year, visit the website www.nofiq.nl
Indian Military Test
15th June 2010
India's Defence Research and Development Organisation carried out a test to record how quickly DSPA extinguishes a compartment fire. The speed of 3.018 seconds is not sufficiently quick for the Indian Army's weaponry stores in tanks, but maybe used in other Defence systems. Click here for the report.
Dutch Navy Tests
28th April 2010
The Royal Netherlands Navy tested the DSPA-5 in 4 fire scenarios to guage its applicability aboard naval ships. It concluded that, since all targets were met, the DSPA-5 is a valuable addition to their existing fire fighting procedures. Click here for the full report.

DSPA enjoyed a successful show at the International Firex, with over 150 visitors from all over the world enquiring about our products and their various applications.
